About the painting
The Outer Banks of North Carolina holds a special place in the hearts of myself and my family. Summer wouldn’t be the same without a visit to this lovely and relaxing place. Here, the sun rises over the ocean, and each new day has it’s own unique and beautiful sunrise. This piece was inspired by a beautiful gift I beheld one early morning from my balcony during a challenging time in my life. So often , nature has a way of providing me with a renewed sense of wonder and gratitude, at just the right moment of need.
