About the painting:
This is a painting of the beautiful wetlands on Chincoteague Island, where I had the pleasure to paint in September during the Plein Air Chincoteague event. There is rich subject matter in this coastal area of Virginia, and rich history too. The Chincoteague National Seashore and the Wetlands leading up to it were my favorite destinations while I was in the area.
