About the painting:
In the summer of 2017 I was fortunate to have received an artist's residency in Vinalhaven Maine. This was an on-the-spotter from my first day on the island. I was trying to get a handle on all of those amazing rocks at a location that is called both State Beach and Geary's Beach.
