About the painting:
In this painting I was exploring a high key color palette, which I quite enjoy. It is also a bit of nostalgia for me, as it’s a depiction of my daughter at the beach (“her favorite place.”) She is now a teen, but I couldn’t resist this image of her at that age when she was full steam ahead and everything must be pink!
