About the painting:

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is my “happy place”. In fact, it has been the place for fun and renewal for both myself and my family for a number of years. As my daughter grows older and I work and travel more frequently, this special place on the Carolina shores has always offered us a time of relaxation and rejuvenation. Summer isn’t the same without a week of big billowing clouds, colorful umbrellas, and the sound of crashing waves.
