About the painting:

I adore old fashioned blue and pink hydrdrangeas, but I have so little shade in my yard so I plant the sun-loving limelight hydrangeas instead. The blooms start out white and turn lovely shades of lime green with tinges of pink on the edges of the petals. They make great cut flowers and dried flowers, and they are also a lot of fun to paint!
