This is an original 5x7” gouache painting painted on archival cotton 140 lb. cold-pressed watercolor paper, matted out to 8x10” using all acid-free materials. About the painting:

This is a view of Villa Monestero, which is located in the lovely little town of Varenna, Italy on Lake Como. The villa, once a lovely residence, now serves as a conference center for both business and cultural events. For me it served a the perfect focal point for a number of paintings I have done over the years, idyllically set at the edge of a small peninsula.
