About the painting:

The Outer Banks of North Carolina is my “happy place”. In fact, it has been the place for fun and renewal for both myself and my family for a number of years. As my daughter grows older and I work and travel more frequently, this special place on the Carolina shores becomes like a beacon of hope and rejuvenation in our lives. One of my favorite pastimes at the beach is simply to stroll along the shoreline, smell the salt air, and enjoy the ever-changing coast.
